Jennifer Spencer founded Real Time Reception following her own experiences as a qualified podiatrist with years of experience in private practice. In 2004 she opened her own busy clinic but found she missed the services of a receptionist:
“Often the phone would ring constantly throughout the day but I was too busy treating clients to answer. This was frustrating for clients, irritating for me (as I’d have to spend my lunchtimes and evenings returning calls!) and was potentially costing me new business!”
As someone just starting out Jennifer couldn’t justify the cost of a full-time receptionist so she started to look for telephone answering and reception services – she was shocked to find that there were none!
As a result, Jennifer started Real Time Reception – concentrating at first on healthcare professionals as a market she understands very well.
In 2007, Jennifer was joined by business leader Howard Hughes whose extensive experience and knowledge has helped grow the company further. Together they are firmly committed to expanding Real Time Reception’s already excellent virtual receptionist and telephone answering services whilst still maintaining its basis in affordability for all their clients.
