Real Time Reception has been providing patient appointment scheduling online for health professionals since 2006. Our founder, Jennifer, started working in the NHS as a podiatrist in 1983, in a variety of clinics with other medical practitioners, physiotherapists and consultants.
As practitioners ourselves, we appreciate the need for clinics to run smoothly and the overriding concern of patient confidentiality – all our receptionists are trained professionals who understand the importance of handling sensitive patient information.

Our client is a bustling mixed private clinic in Scotland, with 2 treatment rooms: one for podiatry and one for a variety of other practitioners. There are 5 podiatrists, including the practice owner who works 4 days per week. The clinic also has evening surgeries. We book all the podiatry patients for all the practitioners, contacting them by text in the event of late booking or cancellation.
We take client contact details for the non-podiatry practitioners and forward them so that they can make their own bookings.
This client has been with us for 5 years. In an average month we handle over 250 calls and send 45 messages. The fees are, on average, just £345 per month (inclusive of VAT).
A new clinic which started using our services in 2006. At first they averaged 75 calls per month. Now 5 years on they are still using our services and receiving over 130 calls per month. They pay, on average, around £250 per month (inclusive of VAT)
