Receptionist Services – Who Are Real Time Reception?

Real Time Reception was founded by Jennifer Spencer to help with patient appointment scheduling. A podiatrist with years of experience in private practice both on her own and in shared premises, Jennifer decided to provide virtual office receptionist services following her own experiences.

In 2004 she opened her own busy practice but missed the services of a receptionist, which she had enjoyed at her previous clinic.

Often the phone would ring 15 to 20 times a day but she was too busy treating clients to answer. This was frustrating for clients who wanted to speak to a real person, immediately, and irritating for Jennifer, who would have to spend lunchtimes and evenings returning clients’ calls.

medic iconJennifer couldn’t justify the cost of a full-time receptionist so started to research a reception service. She couldn’t find one - so decided to start her own, at first concentrating on healthcare professionals, a market she understands very well. The receptionist services provided by Real Time Reception include patient appointment scheduling for the medical sector but encompass all industries where back-to-back appointment booking and telephone answer services are necessary, be it driving instructors or lawyers.

The service provided by Real Time Reception has grown from strength-to-strength and Jennifer now has a skilled team of mature, professional and caring receptionists.

In 2007, Jennifer was joined by business leader Howard Hughes whose technical expertise has helped grow the company further.
